It’s been too long. Here are some photos of Delaney enjoying her summer vacation.
She will be back to posting outfit photos in September. She can’t wait!
We took a bit of a hiatus over here, but Delaney is ready to start posting again. See you guys soon!
Delaney got to bring home a gift she made for me and Kyle in class. She told me no peeking and she can’t wait to let us open it on Christmas. She enjoyed playing in the snow at recess and she was proud to be a helper during math centers.
Today Delaney’s class took a mini field trip and I went along as a volunteer. We had a fun time walking to the Post Office to mail letters to Santa. Then the class stopped at Starbucks for hot chocolate and a Christmas story. Delaney had a great time and she was excited that I was able to go along.
Delaney made a paper tree for her teacher last night and was excited to give it to her in class today. Her teacher loved it. She put it by the student mailboxes where everyone could see it.
Monday is one of Delaney’s favorite days of the week because she has art class. Today she made a paper Christmas tree and a puppet of herself as a vampire. She even gave herself a bloody mouth. Lovely. She also had her final practice for the holiday concert. She is so excited to perform tomorrow night.
Delaney had fun reading on Raz-Kids during computer lab time. She is trying to get more stars to build a rocket, so she has to keep reading. She also had library today. She picked out books about superheroes to bring home and started reading them right away.
Delaney was excited to talk about getting to do special math during math centers. She is at a higher level than the other kids, that little math nerd. She enjoyed watching a movie and making art during inside recess today. She wishes it would get warmer though…she wants to get back out in the snow.
Delaney was excited for me to volunteer today. She had fun doing math center and computer lab time while I was there. She also enjoyed having indoor playtime due to the freezing weather today.
